The Scent Of Murder
Doyle Mysteries No. 1
Albert Doyle, a former Detroit Homicide Detective and master chef, made a fortune on the sale of his 26 Doyle’s Irish Pubs. He could have moved anywhere in the world, instead he moved to Sand Point, a quaint community two hours north of Detroit. Shortly after moving into his luxury home, Doyle’s bloodhound, Copper, discovers an old man’s body on the Lake Huron beach. He reports the discovery, and the County Sheriff convinces him to become Huron County’s official part-time Deputy Homicide Detective. Doyle is thrilled to be a detective again, but nothing is simple in this small community. There are too many suspects and everyone seems to be just a little off. While Doyle searches for the killer he must adjust to life in a small town and his search for family, friends and romance.
