Mediterranean Food
From Doyle Mysteries
Doyle’s mother owned a Greek restaurant in downtown Detroit’s Greektown neighborhood offering the best Mediterranean food in Detroit. As the youngest child he helped his mother cook and serve. Like his father, he became a Detroit Police Officer and eventually a Homicide Detective. But food was always his passion.
After almost getting killed on the job, Doyle won a two million dollar settlement from Detroit and opened his own restaurant in his mother’s old building in Greektown. It was a winner and lead to many more restaurants and Doyle’s Pubs. As Doyle says, “It’s all about the food. Serve the best dishes made with the freshest ingredients and the customers will be there for you.”
Because I have always been on a diet, consisting of mostly Mediterranean style dishes, my wife and I decided to cook most of the dishes presented in the Doyle novels. I haven’t gotten them done yet, even though the first book is ready for sale, but I’m working on them (remember I’m on a diet) and will be posting them in this category when they are all complete. Sign up for my Email Club and I’ll let you know as I post new dishes. You won’t be disappointed.
A special note: The book is selling fast and I urge you to do a review. Reviews help in sales and opens opportunities to list my book in more locations.
Thank you,
Duane Wurst
